The story always takes place in the setting of Yinguang Ln.

Yinguang Ln is a place we once knew well, a warm image of a gathering of friends, and now it will once again come alive in our sights. This special exhibition will be held from August 1 to August 12, 2024, inviting everyone to come to Yinguang Lane, treat it as their own home, and join us in revisiting those ordinary yet beautiful moments of life.

The curatorial concept is to transform the exhibition space into a “room,” making it as familiar as our own rooms, bringing it closer to our daily lives rather than a traditional “exhibition” format. Visitors need not view the works with trepidation; these beautiful objects and artworks can naturally integrate into our lives without any sense of distance.

A major highlight of this exhibition is that the curator will personally live in this “room” during the setup period, fostering a genuine “lived-in atmosphere” through prolonged interaction with the space.

Participating artist Chen Cingming graduated from Taipei National University of the Arts and is the head of the brand “Known for Fire.”

He continues to create ceramics and paintings and has been quite active in the art field in recent years, participating in various group and solo exhibitions. This exhibition will showcase his living ceramics, including Bongs, cups, lamps, and flower vases. These works have artistic value and are practical, allowing the audience to appreciate art while feeling the warmth and beauty of everyday life.

Zheng Chunyun (yun.gon.e.3) graduated from Fu Jen Catholic University Department of Textiles. For her, each piece of work is like her child, and presenting them at their best is her commitment to the brand.

She has successively co-founded the art space “Kewco” and the textile brand “Kirrei” with her partners. This exhibition marks her debut as a creator, showcasing knitted home decor items such as carpets, curtains, bean bags, and blinds. She also serves as the curator of this exhibition. Her works have a unique style that combines modern design with traditional craftsmanship, aiming to provide the audience with a living space that is both aesthetically pleasing and comfortable.

This exhibition centers on the theme of “room,” aiming to integrate art into daily life, which has always been one of the core concepts of “Kewco.”

We have invited the furniture brand Modern Poly and the bedding brand Sleepy Tofu to collaborate in the exhibition. Simultaneously, we are partnering with the Modpoly Art Gallery in Beitou to display a curated selection of furniture and vintage pieces alongside the artists’ works. Everything exhibited in the space, from the artists’ works to the furniture, objects, and even the bedding, is available for purchase! The participation of these collaborative brands not only enriches the content of the exhibition but also provides the audience with a diverse range of choices, achieving a seamless integration of art and everyday life.
